$MATIC is the native token on the Polygon blockchain. We would need to spend it for the transaction fee, paid to the blockchain validators for processing them for us. The price of MATIC and transaction fee can fluctuate, but from the past few months it’s been worth around $0.01-0.03 per transaction.
You would only need to top up your MATIC balance one time - as Sidestepr would be able to automatically top up on your behalf, using your USDT balance on an as-needed basis.
In Binance, check your Wallet for your MATIC balance. If you don’t have any yet, you’d need to trade for it. You only need 1-2 MATIC to start. At today’s prices, this is around $1-2.
